A visit to Wicken Fen to explore the senses and gain stimuli for art as part of a joint project with the Babylon Art Gallery in Ely.
Residential developing independence, team work, resilience and most of all having FUN!
Great work in the community being creative, independent, resilient and developing essential skills for adulthood.
Great opportunities for our students to find out about the world of work at the stables.
Using the weather to help predict how cold it needs to be for sculptures to stay frozen.
Puffins class have been learning about leaves and what makes them green. They did an experiment and found out that there are lots of other colours than green within the leaf. They also examined a leaf under a microscope to see what makes it up. The students were excellent at following safety procedures in the Science lab and asked some thoughtful questions.
We had the pleasure of hosting our first student activity days in the summer with our Family and Student Support Worker Jeannette. The sessions were a great success and it was lovely to have student and parent groups together.
S4 travelled on the train to Kings Lynn and also ordered their own lunch on Monday. Excellent use of life skills in the community. Looks like they had fun too!
