Extension has Firm Foundations!

We are now in week 13 out of 39 weeks of the complete project for the building of Highfield Littleport's new 50 place extension. All is currently on track.

RG Carter have been extremely busy in the first period.  They have completed the main site hoarding, installed drainage, excavated the existing tarmac, installed the piles and tested them. 

They have now moved on to the excavation of the foundations for the build. The foundations have pretty much been completed and in the next week there will be a main concrete pour into the foundations. The next stage will then be the erection of the steel frame for the building.  The students are going to get the opportunity to sign the steels and will be able to see it being moved into place.  Keep your eyes open for pictures of this!
