Ely Spice hosted a fantastic curry and quiz night led by the quizmaster Steuart in aid of Highfield Littleport Academy. There were challenging questions, delicious food, a raffle prize for every participant and a lot of fun had by all. In total the night raised £520 but following this we also had a very generous donation from a local businessman who was also attending the quiz. Clive Palmer who is director of Roadpager limited sent us a generous donation of an additional £500. We are going to use the money to help improve our new playground with lots of sensory panels and equipment.
