Through our learning values and subject teaching we develop and enhance creativity in our learners.

Within the Yellow pathway students are exposed to a variety of different artistic and musical styles and artists and are encouraged to develop their own ideas based upon different stimuli. They are encouraged to critique others work to improve thier own and others through peer review.  Students learn a variety of skills and techniques across art and music to become autonomous in articulating thier own feelings through art and music.  Students are encouraged to learn an instrument to engage and express themselves fully.

Within the Blue pathway students are immersed in a variety of different creative experiences.  Experiences in this area promote development of play skills, interaction, self expression and creativity through the arts.

Within the Green pathway students are exposed to a variety of different artistic and musical stimuli to generate higher levels of engagement and enjoyment. Creativity and self expression is promoted through modelled skills and techniques which students replicate and learn.

Within the Purple pathway students are exposed to a variety of different artistic and musical styles and artists and are encouraged to develop their own ideas based upon what they engage with and observe. Students learn a variety of skills and techniques across art and music to become autonomous in articulating thier own feelings through art and music.  Students are encouraged to learn an instrument where their interest lies to engage and express themselves fully.

Dance is taught and developed within our PE curriculum across all pathways as a means of creative expression through music and movement.
