Within this department there is one class at present. All of the learning is based around the Early Years Foundation Stage approach to the curriculum promoting active learning, partnerships with parents and building positive relationships.
Class 1 - Wrens
Wrens Class is taught by Jo with Katie as the level 3 within the class. Students are supported by a good level of teaching assistants. Pupils learn around different themes and inclusion of their own interests is actively promoted within the curriculum. At the beginning of each year parents and carers are asked to contribute their interests via Evidence for Learning, which shows the students area of interest so that practitioners can plan effectively to meet each individuals needs.
